Dear Colleagues,

Encouraged by the success of our 2023 meeting, it is with the greatest pleasure that we invite you for the 2nd Semmelweis International Vascular Symposium, organized jointly by Semmelweis University and the Frank J Veith International Society on May 29-31, 2025.

This international conference will focus on new developments in the investigation and multidisciplinary management of peripheral vascular disease. A stellar faculty from Europe and the United States will present the latest information on medical, endovascular and surgical management of aortic, cerebrovascular and peripheral arterial, venous and lymphatic disorders.

The three-day meeting includes plenary sessions, industry presentations, an educational course in a cadaveric lab and workshops to learn new endovascular techniques and ultrasound imaging. A poster competition and a Grand Prix in surgical simulation will also be organized. Networking is essential component of our conference. Connect with fellow attendees, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations that can lead to future research and clinical partnerships.

The venue of the symposium is the beautiful Basic Medical Science Center of the Semmelweis University, the leading medical school in Central Europe. You will have a chance to visit the beautiful and vibrant city of Budapest, the Spa capital of the world, famous for its rich culture and heritage, the spectacular Parliament Building, the stunning Castle, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the mighty Danube River. The recently renovated 19th century Chain Bridge connects historic Buda with Pest, with its famous restaurants, coffee houses and pastry shops, serving Hungarian culinary delicacies.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2nd Semmelweis International Vascular Symposium, for a unique educational opportunity with a memorable social program, organized in one of the most magnificent cities.
